Shincheonji Church of Jesus has a volunteer organization called “Shincheonji Volunteer” at every branch church. They are known for spreading Jesus’ love through humble services by serving the local communities with various campaigns and approahces.

This time, Cheonji Daily covered Cheongpyeong Branch’s volunteer campaign.

“They donated the profits they gained through using the “Good Stores” for the needy to practice sharing happiness.”

Shincheonji Volunteer Cheongpyeong Branch (Branch Manager Cho Soeongmin) is receiving attention after running the “Good Share, Good Consuming Campaign” in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

Cheongpyeong Branch started to support the community members’ happiness by donating food and supplies to the “Happiness Sharing Shed” in Sang-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, and running the “Good Sharing, Good Consumption Campaign” on 15th Sep.

“Happiness Sharing Shed” in Sang-myeon is a place where they collect a voluntary donation of food and ingredients from the local residents and serve the needy who needs temporary help with food supply and practice the “Reuse, Reduce, Recycle Campaign”.

“Good Share, Good Consuming Campaign” is a campaign to create a virtuous circle of Cheongpyeong Church, stores, and the local community: “Good Stores” that signed the MOUs with Shincheonji Church create profits from everyday consumptions and donate a portion of the profits to the local needy.

As usual, this support will be done by delivering a portion of the profits gained from Shincheonji Cheongpyeong Church members using the Good Stores to the beneficiaries.

Cheongpyeon Branch has been running a campaign every month to deliver happiness to the Good Store and its beneficiaries. The donated food (54 beef bone soup packages, 37 small egg package boxes (4 ea)) is being carefully handed out to the local residents who visit the “Happiness Sharing Shed”.

A local resident who runs a grape farm said, “I visited to Happiness Sharing Shed because I wondered what this place is and saw Shincheonji Volunteer’s work. I want to participate in the volunteer work after finding something to donate.”

Shin Jeonga, the director of Happiness Sharing Shed, said, “It’s been a great help since Shincheonji Volunteer Cheongpyeong Branch is donating supplies to Happiness Sharing Shed every month. I always thank them for meeting the true volunteers.”

Yun Joonsoo, the general affair of Happiness Sharing Shed, said, “Since they donated beef bone soup, which is good for health, to greet Korea’s national holiday, Chuseok, the elderlies must be very happy about it. Like so, they donate every month to Happiness Sharing Shed and this means a lot to me as a manager.”

He added, “Cheongpyeong Branch always enthusiastically serves the community and they make me feel good when I meet them since they give warmth and good vibes to others.”

Shincheonji Volunteer Cheongpyeong Branch Manager Cho Seongmin promised, “Cheongpyeong has been constantly serving the local community and we will continue to helpfully and practically serve the community.”
