The Bible compares a rich man entering the Kingdom of Heaven to a camel going through the eye of a needle. Does this mean that the rich are evil?
The rich are not evil. There are two types of rich – the materialistic rich and the rich at heart.
The materialistic rich and the materialistic poor are, at the end, in the same position. They both have 24 hours and eat three meals per day – what’s the difference?
But it is different when it comes to the rich at heart.
If the physically rich cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven, why would God have given wealthy possessions to Job?
Those who are rich at heart lack nothing; thus, they become complacent and do not seek.
The materialistic rich cannot completely fill their bowls and thus keep seeking and working for their food.
Whether one be an authority figure or a materialistic rich, as long as he knows himself and knows the true God, he would perceive what the true treasure is and seek for it.
This ‘true treasure’ is life.
People would have to seek not for the food which perish like a dream, but for the eternal and imperishable food.
